The

AURORA
Financial Group
The AURORA Financial Group combines the skills, energy and experience
of the Jackson Batten Financial Group and AFPS. These two well-established
Independent Financial Adviser businesses came together as one in
September 2002.
Based
in Canterbury, Sidcup and London, the AURORA Financial Group is
the largest independent financial group in the Kent - and one of
the largest in the UK.
The organisation has 110 employees, including over 40 qualified,
registered individual consultants. Its founding directors, David
Taplin and Rob Rackliffe share much in terms of personal and business
values - and their vision for the future of Aurora.
The
company consists of six core businesses: AURORA Financial Services,
AURORA Wealth Management, AURORA Professional Connections, AURORA
Benefit Consulting, AURORA Healthcare and AURORA Financial Technologies.

Aurora combines the skills, energy and experience of the Jackson
Batten Financial Group with AFPS. The two founding businesses had
much in common; both were committed to the very best standard of
financial advice, the professionalism of all their staff and the
quality of systems and processes. There were also differences, in
terms of geography, areas of specific expertise and market sectors.
The combination of matching values and opportunity is compelling
and the merger of the two founding companies has created the largest
private independent financial advice business in Kent and one of
the largest in the UK. Aurora currently advises on over £550
million of investments on behalf of its clients.
