About
The Bakers Company
Bakers was established in 1969 by John Baker. He identified a need
for specialist insurance to cover park homes and caravans and designed
a specific product especially for Park Homes which was a great success.
Bakers expanded rapidly developing purpose built insurance policies
for static holiday caravans, tourers and motor caravans.
Bakers now have over 40,000 policyholders and its specialist park
and caravan policies are underwritten by Norwich Union, one of the
UK's leading insurers.
Bakers has a reputation for quality products that offer wide cover
with no excess, backed by friendly and experienced staff. Great
emphasis is placed on prompt and fair settlement of claims which
is monitored by regular customer satisfaction surveys - which show
over 85% of their customers are very happy with the service they
provide.
Bakers
plays an active role in the caravan and park industry and attend
many of the industry shows and exhibitions. Bakers are members of
the National Caravan Council and the Guild of Park Home Refurbishers.
They introduced "The Park Owner of the Year" award in
conjunction with the Park Home press which rewards excellence in
the provision of quality residential parks and they actively support
the National Park Homes Residents Association that seeks to improve
park home living.
Bakers

to policy issue, renewals, mid term adjustments and claims settlement.
