organisation which has a flexible way of operating that does not
rely on computer generated decision making. In fact more often than
not when contacting the Society, you will speak to the person who
makes decisions – be it the Mortgage Sales Manager, the Chief
Executive or any other member of the Management Team.
The
Society prides itself on being responsive to their Members’
needs – the Mortgage Admin Team in particular has a reputation
locally for not just being easy to talk to, but in processing applications
quickly.
Combine
their local knowledge with an ethos of treating people as individuals,
and you have a unique, personal service not matched by many in the
industry.
This
is underscored by their successful policy of operating in niche
markets – Buy-To-Let and Commercial Mortgages in addition to
residential lending; investment products for high net worth clients
and regular savers, as well as instant savers.
Whilst
Bath Building society's main operation is within the city of Bath
and its immediate area, the Society is actively developing a network
of Agency offices through the west of England which offer the same
personal service. Uniquely, the Society deals with firms with a
similar community based ethos which means that the same standards
of service are maintained through out the network of offices.
