About
The BDML Group Company
BDML
was formed in 1998 by Angus Ball, Sandy Dunn, Keith Morris and Stephen
Lockwood.
On
30 December 1998 the BDML Group acquired BDML Connect Limited, then
called Rossborough Insurance Services Limited, a medium sized insurance
intermediary specialising primarily in the administration of free
insurance schemes for motor manufacturers.
Under the new ownership substantial investments were made in technology
and infrastructure to enable BDML Connect to offer fully branded
insurance administration services by telephone or Internet. This
platform provided a springboard for growth for the company and BDML
Connect now provides these services on behalf of a broad range of
strategic business partners.
In 2000 BDML Group acquired Ultimate Insurance Solutions Limited.
In
2001 BDML Group acquired a share of Thornside, a company specialising
in the growing pet insurance market in the UK.
In
2002 BDML Group completed the acquisition of Sabre Insurance Company
from Aviva PLC.
The
companies within the BDML group remain specialists in their areas
of expertise, but, BDML is able to provide tailored solutions to
satisfy many requirements in the personal insurance sector.
