The Booths Company
Since June 1847, five generations of the Booth family have led E.H.
Booth & Co Ltd from it’s humble beginnings, with just
one small shop, to the present day where the company proudly boasts
no fewer than 25 modern supermarkets.
When the fifth generation started to work for the company, under
the leadership of Edwin John Booth, turnover continued to increase,
reaching £94,936,902 in 1997.
With three members
of the fifth generation of the family now firmly in command, ably
supported by enthusiastic and committed staff, many of whom are
shareholders. E.H. Booth & Co. Ltd continues to “sell
the best goods available, in attractive stores, staffed with first
class assistants”.
