The Ecology Building Society Company
The
Ecology Building Society was founded in 1981. They are a mutual
organisation, and use the money deposited by their savers to grant
mortgages on properties and projects that help the environment.
The Ecology Building Society have grown steadily since their formation,
as more and more people decide to put their savings to positive
use. Based in Yorkshire, their savings and mortgages are available
across the U.K.
Their
AGM is held in a different part of the country each year, at a venue
of environmental interest. This enables members living around the
country to attend.
