The Hollard Group Company
Capricorn
is a European-managed global investment group. The company is registered
in the British Virgin Islands. It invests in the insurance sector,
niche financial services sectors and the restaurant, food and beverage
sector. The geographical focus of its investments includes Europe,
Africa, the United States and Australia.
Capricorn
is controlled by a discretionary family trust, and holds interests,
directly or indirectly, in more than fifty investee companies, which
together have more than 10,000 employees worldwide.
The Hollard Group forms the core of Capricorns' insurance interests.
Hollard has it's roots in South Africa where it has been operating
since 1980 and is currently the largest independently owned and
third largest insurance group in the country.
Partnership is the core philosophy of the group. They believe in
working together with distributors and administrators of product
to maximise return for all parties in the relationship.
