Holmesdale
Building Society subscribes to The Mortgage Code, which sets standards
of good mortgage lending practice and provides valuable safeguards
for customers. The key commitments from them, the lender, to you
the borrower, are set out in The Mortgage Code booklet (a copy of
which is available upon request from the Society), and the shortened
leaflet entitled You and Your Mortgage which will be supplied at
the outset of your mortgage enquiry. If you have been introduced
to the Society by an intermediary, they will have given a copy to
you.

Choosing
a mortgage may be your most important financial commitment. There
are two levels of service which the Society will provide under the
terms of The Mortgage Code.
These
are:
information on the different types of mortgage product we offer
so that you can make an informed choice of which to take;
information
on a single mortgage product only, if we only offer one mortgage
product or if you have already made up your mind.
