The Intellex Company
Intellex
Plc (founded 1999) has been formed to fill a gap in the Corporate
Payments area of the financial services sector. It has long been
recognised that Small to Medium sized Enterprises (SME) are disadvantaged
when dealing with the exchange and transmission of foreign funds
to overseas organisations. This disadvantage has held back the growth
of the S.M.E. particularly at a time when technological advances
should have made global trade more user-friendly and available to
all.
Having
experienced the 'uneven playing-fields' of international trading,
it became rapidly apparent that by applying lateral thinking, a
new and better way of transacting across borders could be achieved.
There had to be a reduction of costs as well as maintaining or improving
service levels to achieve the required solution. Additionally, the
solution had to be applicable to organisations which did not have
the luxury of their own Treasury department.
Having
tried and tested several of the Major Banks proprietary systems,
Intellex believe they have designed the ultimate system that not
only enables S.M.E.'s to be competitive in the market but also takes
out the unfairness of being obliged to commit a Company's foreign
currency business to any single Bank. Through 'natural market forces'
our clients obtain the best deal.
The
resulting methodology not only satisfied all of their requirements
for an improved system but also generated a new revenue stream.
It was this final benefit that lead to the Company offering these
services to third parties.
Although
the Intellex system was designed with the S.M.E. in the forefront
of our mind, the effect and savings achievable are equally applied
to any size Corporation.
The
result is "Intelligent Exchange™" in forex or Intellex™.
The
Intellex™ system is currently and has been consistently used
for over 3 years in the music industry. During this period a substantial
income has been generated from the system's use in foreign exchange
transactions.
