The JLT|Online Company
JLT|Online started life as Pavilion Insurance in January 1997. Their
first product was Musicguard, offering musical instrument and equipment
insurance.
In 1998 Cycleguard was launched, providing insurance for cyclists
and their bikes, and then later in 1999 their camera insurance solution
for photographers followed under the title Photoguard.
In
2003 it was decided that to aid further expansion Pavilion Insurance
Network Plc would float on the alternative investment market (AIM)
of the London Stock Exchange.
Pavilion
continued to increase their range of products including gadget insurance,
laptop insurance, golf insurance and re-enactor insurance as well
as expanding existing products with greater options and flexibility.
In
June 2007 JLT Corporate Risks Ltd agreed to acquire Pavilion and
the company changed to JLT|Online in October 2007.
