KwikFit was established in 1971 by Sir Tom Farmer and they are now
one of the world's largest independent automotive parts repair and
replacement specialists.

Kwik Fit Insurance Services was launched in 1995 as a result of
customer demand and has grown to become one of the United Kingdom's
leading motor insurance distributors. Many considered this to be
a very bold move into an already very competitive marketplace.
Originally
KwikFit employed 130 people, their trailblazing call centre at Uddingston,
Lanarkshire, now employs more than 800 people, handling an incredible
ten million calls every year .
In 2010 Kwik Fit Financial Services was purchased by Ageas UK (formally Fortis UK). This acquisition included the purchase of Kwik Fit Insurance, Express Insurance and The Green Insurance Company – the three organisations which make up Kwik Fit Financial Services.
