The Lifesure Company
Lifesure
Group Limited was formed in 1971, originally they intended to be
a provider of Life and Investment policies. In the early yearsthey
found that there was a large demand for personal lines (private
motor car, household etc) insurance and gradually Lifesure moved
from being primarily a supplier of Life Policies into a leading
personal lines insurance provider. Today Lifesure no longer transact
life assurance.
Lifesure
became specialists in many ‘niche’ markets. A number
of sports car clubs initially recommended them as they were able
to negotiate a number of schemes with leading insurers. Over the
years they have continued to provide competitive insurance for many
clients who have a particular type of vehicle. Their most recent
scheme and one of their most successful has been to offer insurance
for vehicles imported from Japan, at a time when many insurers have
declined these.
Lifesure believe in a high level of customer care and they have
endeavoured to ensure that there remains an ‘old fashioned’
approach to their customers. Whenever you phone Lifesure you will
find that you speak to someone who is both knowledgeable and concerned.
They firmly believe their future is in the hands of their customers,
both old and new.
Finding their origin in their niche marketing is M.C.I.A Limited
(Motor Caravan Insurance Agency Limited), which grew from a successful
scheme for Motor Caravans. In fact, so successful was the scheme
that a separate company was formed in 1986 and this has now become
one of the leading insurers of Motor Caravans in the United Kingdom.
MCIA Ltd. has also successfully ventured into other products which
include Caravan Insurance, Annual Travel Insurance and Park Home
Insurance.
On
the 1st September 2008 M.C.I.A Limited was merged with Lifesure
Limited to form an e company, Lifesure Group Limited. This was done
to increase efficiency and offer even better service to the Groups
clients. Having moved to the new premises in 2008 it seemed the
right time to complete the merge.
