History
Lucas Fettes & Partners is an independent Group of Companies
founded in 1980 by Robin Lucas, a Lloyd’s insurance broker
formerly with reinsurance broking group PWS, and David Fettes, who
previously worked with consulting actuaries Buck Paterson. They
were later joined in the business by Jonathan Peck, formerly with
B.L. Insurance Broking Services, and Richard Heighton, an account
executive with Sun Alliance.
The
Group operates a network of offices throughout England and employs
over 90 staff with a combined specialist knowledge embracing a wide
spectrum of corporate and personal insurance and financial expertise.
Lucas
Fettes has enjoyed a history of continuous growth, achieved almost
entirely through on-going referral business. Its client base is
as wide-ranging as the scope of the services provided.
The
core of the Group’s business is the provision of an integrated
insurance and financial service to the professional, taking in such
practitioners as accountants, solicitors, advertising agents, film
producers, public relations consultants, estate agents, surveyors,
architects, property developers, business entrepreneurs and public
company directors.
With
over 20 years’ experience in the insurance and financial services
market, Lucas Fettes also arranges turnkey corporate programmes
tailored to the requirements of diverse business sectors, from comprehensive
business cover to group pension schemes.
Today, the Lucas Fettes Group commands an annual insurance broking
income of over £25m and has funds under management in excess
of £100m.
