The Mastercare Company
Mastercare provides after-sales services for customers of Dixons,
Currys and The Link.
The after-sales service division manages a network of repair and
technical centres as well as a field force of mobile engineers.
The
products Mastercare customers buy can often be complex to operate
and may work in conjunction with other products in a customer's
home. To help their customers get the most from their products,
Mastercare offers access to support over the telephone, in the home
and in their workshops.
Mastercare
constantly evaluate their product range to ensure that their Call
Centre staff have all the information they need to answer questions
over the telephone. In any one week more than a 1,000 employees
solve problems over the telephone and 600 engineers visit their
customer's homes, backed up by more than 200 workshop engineers.
Coverplan
is the Group's specialist service agreement. In 2002/2003 there
were 12.2m Coverplan agreements in place.
