MiniBusPlus
( MBP ) is a specialist minibus insurance broker.
MBP started with a marketing campaign to schools and colleges.
This now includes a wide variety of minibus users and operators
as well as insurance packages for commercial use MPV’s,
Coaches and Fleets which may contain all or some of these types
of vehicles alongside standard saloon cars.
MBP deal direct with customers from their office as well as offering
their products through a network of agents throughout the if the
customer prefers to deal locally.
Their aim is to offer competitive premiums for minibus insurance
linked to quality products designed specifically to meet the sector
they operate within. In many instances a competitive price can
seem tempting but it is important to cross check the policy details.
This is an area where MBP’s long connection with the marketplace
delivers a bespoke minibus product not just a simple commercial
vehicle insurance product.
MBP have close relationships with their underwriters and suppliers
to ensure that they offer the most competitive and efficient service.
They
keep up to date with current and future legislation and ensure that
their products and services match the requirements of the market
place they operate within. For example they offer a telephone helpline
to their customers in partnership with RAC Legal Services to answer
any specific questions a customer may have.
MBP is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority
(FSA). As a previous member of the General Insurance Standards Council
they maintained their voluntary membership when many brokers failed
to join or renew membership before the new FSA regulation came into
force. MBP were committed to good business practice and the fair
treatment of customers long before it became compulsory.
MBP also make an impact in the community: for over 10 years they
have sponsored Help the Aged and their SeniorMobility Scheme which
brings transport to the communities in need of accessible vehicles.
In recent years they have donated £150,000 to this cause and
assisted in the purchase of over 30 vehicles.
MiniBusPlus Limited was formed in 1989 and began trading in May
2000 as MBP. Since that time they have added MBP minibus, MBP fleet,
MBP coach, MBP BIG car and MBP recovery to their product range.
They are constantly looking at new products and services to keep
them ahead in their field. Recently they teamed up with RAC to offer
a minibus vehicle inspection contract as well as offering a vehicle
reversing aid with Backwatch.
Their core operating market areas are Education, Charities, Nursing
Homes, Private Individuals, Private Hire insurance and the all embracing
Commercial use.
