The Monmouthshire Building Society Company
The
Monmouthshire Building Society was established in Newport in 1869
to meet the needs of the local people.
Founded
as a mutual organisation they believe that this form of corporate
status has stood the test of time and is as effective today as it
ever was.
The Monmouthshire Building Society are a totally independent regional
Building Society and endeavour to apply true mutual principles to
all their affairs.
The
Society operates through a network of branch and agency offices
covering the M4 corridor from the Severn Bridge in the east, to
Swansea in the west. Please note that the Society currently operates
geographical restrictions on the opening of investment and savings
accounts for new customers. The restriction applies beyond a radius
of twenty miles from their branch and agency offices.
