The Privilege Insurance Company
Privilege was launched in 1994 by The Royal Bank of Scotland plc.
In its first four years Privilege attracted 250,000 customers, making
it the UK’s fastest growing general insurance company at that
time.
At launch, Privilege aimed to serve the ‘non-standard’
market, estimated at 6 million drivers. Over time Privilege’s
proposition has evolved to London, Executive and 50+ safe drivers.
Today
Privilege champions the interests of all safe drivers, and continues
to offer competitive car insurance, especially to those drivers
with 4 or more years No Claims Discount.
Privilege
Insurance is underwritten by Direct Line Insurance plc which is
authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
