About
The Royal London Asset Management Company ( RLAM )
Royal London Asset Management ( RLAM ) is the wholly owned
asset management subsidiary of The Royal London Mutual Insurance
Society (Royal London), the UKs second largest mutual life
insurer. RLAM was established as a separate company in 1988.
Formed
in 1988 to manage the Royal London Groups assets, recent acquisitions
by the Group increased the assets under management and as such,
the demands on RLAM. To meet these demands they have been building
their team in all areas of their business over the past two years.
They are very proud of their staff, who have a high level of experience
and expertise and together represent an effective team, fully equipped
to drive their business forward.
Their
Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Carter, joined them in 2001 to oversee
the direction of the Investment team as Chief Investment Officer,
developing its structure and investment process so that they are
fully prepared for the challenges ahead. Their sales and marketing
team has also grown to meet the demands that todays investors
make of a fund management business and they have transformed their
Operations team, so that they can support the business efficiently
and effectively.
Their
equity managers handle global, regional and specialist UK, European,
American, Japanese and Asian portfolios. Their fixed income team
manages a range of assets, from gilts to corporate bonds. They are
also one of the UKs leading property investors.
