The Scotia Capital Company
Scotia
Capital is the marketing name covering the Scotiabank Group's integrated
global Corporate and Investment Banking functions. Scotia Capital's
global operations are divided into four primary business units,
serving three main geographies:
In
Canada, primary business units include Canadian Capital Structuring
and Global Trading, which both provide financial products to serve
the needs of their Canadian borrowing and investing clients. They
are supported by Canadian Relationship Management, which coordinates
client coverage for those Canadian corporate clients with complex
multi-product needs.
Outside
of Canada, other primary business units include U.S. Corporate and
Europe Corporate, which focus on managing corporate and government
client relationships and coordinating the delivery of both the syndicated
lending product and their suite of capital markets products and
services.
Their
Global Trading unit also delivers product to both corporate and
investor clients outside of Canada through product specialists in
derivatives, fixed income, foreign exchange and precious metals
sales and trading operations in Toronto, New York, London, Dublin
and the Far East.
Each
of their business units has been structured to provide clients with
the highest possible level of service and product expertise.
