About
The Scottish Investment Trust Company
Since it was established in 1887, The Scottish Investment Trust
has invested money around the globe on behalf of many thousands
of people from all walks of life.
In
its early days the Trust was committed to uncovering value in turn
of the century emerging markets such as North and South America,
whilst also investing in opportunities in the UK and its colonies.
Based
in Edinburgh, SIT is one of the UK's oldest and largest investment
trusts. From its beginning, SIT's aim has been to invest in well
managed companies, which are likely to achieve a steady increase
in both earnings and dividends.
Over
time, the essence of SIT's strategy and investment style has changed
very little. However, the technological advances involved in handling
our business, managing their portfolios and communicating with their
shareholders have enabled significant improvements.
Scottish Investment Trust aim to continue providing first class
returns - and a first rate service - to their investors.
Scottish
Investment Trust is an investment company registered in Scotland
