The Travel Insurance Facilities Group Company
Travel Insurance Facilities plc (TIF) manage the UK and Ireland
Branch and provide the underwriting for specialist German travel
insurer Union Reiseversicherung AG.
TIF are one of the few travel insurance providers who have integrated
all the various travel insurance services under one roof. As well
as providing travel insurance underwriting, within the TIF group
are Travel Administration Facilities, providing policy sales and
administration, Travellers HealthCheck providing medical screening
using the 'Protectif' medical screening system, Travel Claims Facilities
providing a travel claims service, Emergency Assistance Facilities
providing 24 hour emergency assistance and Infinity Insurance Solutions,
the specialist division of TIF providing both B2B and B2C online
solutions in travel insurance.
TIF
was established in 1996 as a specialist travel insurance underwriting
and management company. It has built up a specialist team to deal
with all areas of travel insurance. Darryl Helliwell, the Chief
Executive, has been in the industry for over twenty years and is
one of a very few people registered as an expert witness on travel
insurance. Richard Smith, the Managing Director and Underwriter,
has been in the industry for over ten years and is well respected
in finding solutions to travel insurance ideas, and Tricia Pearson,
the Medical Risk Underwriter, has been in the industry for over
twenty five years, providing a wealth of detailed medical knowledge.
TIF
is based in a converted Oast House out in the country near Hadlow
in Kent.
