The Taxi Direct Company
Taxi Direct are part of Group Direct, a UK based insurance intermediary
with offices in Bristol, Southampton, Thornbury and Torquay.
Group Direct specialise in all types of Business insurance, in early
2003 they set up various specialist centres of excellence dealing
with specific insurance types such as Taxi, Mini-Bus, Commercial
Vehicle, Commercial Insurance.
Group
Direct work with a panel of over twenty insurers and can place the
vast majority of risks at value for money rates.
They
have negotiated with suppliers to provide additional benefits on
some policies, such as legal protection, breakdown cover, replacement
courtesy vehicle in the event of a non fault accident, and where
ever they can they will to continue to add these benefits to help
improve customer value.
Group
direct do not currently have any buy on line facilities as they
believe they do not offer good value for all customers as they believe
it will be chaper off-line.

Direct are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority
(Reg no. 302216), they are also members of the General Insurance
Standards Council.
